Hudson Institute Founded in 1961 by strategist Herman Kahn, Hudson Institute challenges conventional thinking and helps manage strategic transitions to the future through interdisciplinary studies in defense, international relations, economics, health care, technology, culture, and law. Hudson seeks to guide public policy makers and global leaders in government and business through a vigorous program of publications, conferences, policy briefings, and recommendations.
The internship Hudson Institute seeks interns to support our scholars’ work on national security and international affairs issues. If selected, you will work with a specific scholar one-on-one during the Summer 2019 Semester. In addition to being exposed to critical issues in these fields, interns will spend significant time discussing these issues with their scholar. Onsite interns also attend weekly educational events featuring experts from Hudson Institute and across Washington, DC. Qualifications In addition to having a strong interest in this subject area, applicants should be rigorous researchers, creative analysts, and clear and concise communicators. More important than a comprehensive knowledge of any particular topic is an enthusiasm to learn and a willingness to work hard. Dependability and attention to detail are essential. Interns may work both independently and as members of a team.
